Wilford And Maggie's Wonderpipical trip to England
The first day, March second (Wilford's log), we arrived in London, at the rental place I asked for an Aston Martin, they looked at me and laughed. Maggie asked for a biscuit and got cookie. She was disappointed on not getting her breakfast. I asked for a sub sandwich and chips. I got the sub, but I got fries not chips. Fries are just as good though. we really thought we could afford a cruise, we had plenty of money, everything was half off they said. But It was a lot more than I thought. So we went back to our apartment and said tomorrow would be better.
Second Day, march 3rd (Wilford's log)
"Wonderpipical morning!" At least Maggie thinks so. Maggie was eligible to tour the Big Ben while I was stuck in security for having a cool cell phone that they were certain was a bomb. I mean really! A bomb! I kept telling them It was just a phone. Finally I get through, then Maggie comes around a corner and says she wants a vine of grapes. Of all the things to eat, She asks for grapes. Maggie finally starts to cool down from the day but than sees money in the street and forces me to go to an Arcade, though it is 11:30 at night.
Third day March 4th (Wilford's log)
We are still at the arcade and Maggie is still playing DDR. Golly, this is very tiring. Wait, this is it, Finally she crashed. It is now 2:30 in the morning. Great, now I have to rent a wagon to pull her to the apartment. We sailed way over our budget to yesterday!......................Well I got about two hours of sleep. Maggie is snoring like no other and the stove does not work. This morning is definitely not the best. Well I think we are to to snooze today. Tomorrow I want to see Stone Henge!
fourth day, March 5th (Maggie's log)
Wilford is so boring! He wanted to see a bunch of big rocks piled on top of each other. I mean seriously!what is so great about a stupid rock. Sure it is old, but not cool! If I dig a ten foot hole, will It be as famous as stone henge in the future?! I mean seriously, so what? A bunch of crazies piled a few rocks on top of each other in a circle. I could do that. With a body builder's body. Yeah right. I'll just make it smaller. The world thinks Smaller is better right?! Ipods are small. I will pile some rocks than get famous; It's just too easy. Whatever, I'm going to go mess with those Royal Guard dudes tomorrow. I wonder how long it will take for them to get angry with me. Terrific day!
Fifth Day, March 6th (Maggie's Log)
This morning I forgot I was in London and called the police because I thought I was kidnapped, till I saw Wilford at the door asking why the police were putting cuffs on him. I felt like a dummy. So we asked the nice police men if they knew any good places to eat. He said
the Hakkasan restaurant. They gave us something called Yorkshire pudding...? What the heck? But it was really good. I finally I got to the guards. They wouldn't flinch no matter what said, but when I started doing my imitations of a Sea Lion with mouth cancer they cracked. Then we had a staring contest, they won. =[ Then we went to see Babrican art gallery, which we both enjoyed, Wilford went to see the video game art and I went to see the photography by Sabastiao Salgado. It was very fun in my opinion. We left at around ten and Wilford fell asleep as soon as he walked into his room. Weakling. I stayed up watching British films.
Sixth Day, March 7th (Maggie's Log)
I woke Wilford by pushing him out of bed. I told him we have not seen the Tower of London (which is actually more of a castle), and we just have to. So we crossed the Thames and entered the beautiful building built in 1078. The Yeoman Warders gave us a free tour, they were very interesting people. They told us that the Tower has been a palace, a prison, an arsenal, and even a zoo! We got to see how the Crown Jewels were made and we had a wonderful time. we spent most of pur day there and barely made it in time to get dinner and a shabby little pub.
Seventh day, March 8th (Maggie's Log)
In order to pay me back for his rude awakening, Wilford dumped a bucket of water on my face. I was really sad to have to be packing, but we have to leave at two o'clock in the morning tomorrow. We decided to go see Big Ben and it was ok, it's just a big clock though, Wilford told me i have no appreciation for history, so not true! I love history, i just don't get why they couldn't make a smaller clock. But eventually we had to leave because it was getting late. I will miss London.
